Material
Cactus leather, also known as Desserto, is a USDA-certified bio-based material made from cactus leaves. It features a backing of 65% recycled cotton and 35% recycled polyester, finished with a top layer of water-based PU.
This PETA-approved plant-based leather is derived from the Nopal cactus in Mexico, requiring minimal water and producing very low CO2 emissions. The harvesting process involves no cutting of the cactus plant, making it one of the most sustainable and environmentally responsible vegan leathers available today.
The lining is made from 100% cotton.
